Ultra Cold Calling
After month of posting consistently on LinkedIn, creating a newsletter and engaging with posts—there’s been tremendous growth in people trying to sell me stuff I don’t need. People pitch the most unrelated products and services. The requests range from MBAs to PenTesters, totally out of my wheelhouse.
Hey, I’m so and so, do you want to buy this thing?
Does this ever work? Perhaps because of the scalability it yields some meaningful results. But I almost never respond. Maybe the almost is the conversion rate.
I don’t know much about Sales, but I do know that five touch points is the magic number before somebody buys something.
This strategy blows that out of the water.
