Non-technical CEOs without technical leadership are in a tricky spot. They’re toeing the line between the businesses success and keeping the devs above a tech debt avalanche. Their developers are telling them they need to refactor and upgrade constantly. Sometimes they’re right. A crucial security patch or a piece of code that will slow the entire site to a crawl.
