This Was Exciting
A few weeks ago, while blathering on about turning San Diego into the world's tech capital, I ran into someone with a similar vision, except bigger. Naturally, we had much to discuss, as we were both bought into the “10x is easier than 2x” methodology. He outrageously suggested that we should loop Paul Graham in. When I was done scoffing, I gave it a shot. Searching “Paul Graham Email” brought me here.
Since he’s no longer at YC, I figured this was stale. His instructions were simple, though, so it was worth two minutes to try. Astonishingly, he responded at 3:03 AM the following day with three links.

I’ve read them, of course. They were a motivating factor in this vision, and upon closer inspection, they validate the idea.
