It takes two to tango

Technical founders have issues too

I’ve developed hot-girl-at-bar syndrome from being pitched. As soon as someone starts talking about their idea I get bored. To be fair, people generally launch into this way too early in the relationship. They figure out I’m a Software Engineer and immediately start pitching me to work for free to build their company. If they really cared about me as a person they would take the time to get to know me first and formulate something together. I could be nicer though, and have actually passed on things that in retrospect could be great businesses.
