Don't be too available
The power of limited scheduling
People use scheduling links to book appointments. When every waking hour is available I think and feel:
This person is unpopular.
Overwhelm, give me three options rather than thirty and I’ll make one work.
The opposite happens with less slots, and I’m more likely to book.
It communicates:
Organization, if the slots are that precise they’re likely to follow through.
Scarcity and urgency.
Demand.
I recently did the same. It’s not a trick. There’s a few hours a week where I’m available for calls. If you miss the boat you’ll have to wait until next. It’s already converting better than an open calendar.
